Ryman wanted to go looking for starfish and even though we came no where close to finding one, (just to take pictures of, not to take home) we had fun searching. The drive down the PCH was fun and the view along the way was gorgeous- which is to be expected. We found a beach somewhere between Pacifica and Half Moon Bay that has some cute tide-pools and went exploring around for about an hour.
I almost slipped and fell on the rocks about 5 times, which kept things exciting. People who are as clumsy as I am should seriously not be allowed to even THINK about going exploring all around abandoned beaches covered in mossy rocks and slippery as all hell seaweed. Some of the pictures I took came out ok.. I'm still pretending to know what I'm doing when it comes to the camera. When Ryman asks me if the ISO is set right or if I 'metered' the subject I just smile and nod. We both know I have no idea what any of that means, no matter how many times he explains it to me.
When the sun came out it totally made the sand on the beach sparkle and I found some perfectly perfect tiny sea shells. Had fun and found sparkly sand. WIN. :P
Ryman took a couple pictures of us, which we never really do and they kind of turned out okay, surprisingly enough. He also got one without me realizing it, (which also never happens) where I'm concentrating so desperately on the gigantic slippery rock covered sand that I apparently can't even smile. Although warning, no makeup, not even mascara was put on before hand.
