So, I'm 28. We had fantastic breakfast at Albert's Cafe and visited with mom for a little while. She gave me a gorgeous orchid and some pancakes! The pancakes are a bit of an annual tradition and I'm serious when I say that there is no way I could eat pancakes like, on the regular. Those monsters were almost too much to handle. Almost.
We drove up to the Botanical Garden @ UC Berkeley and it was the perfect way to spend the day. We walked around for a little over two and a half hours, taking pictures and just enjoying being outside. Towards the end of the hike we found a rose garden and it had the most amazing view of the Golden Gate Bridge! I'm starting to enjoy taking pictures more. It's still difficult and I don't know anything, but really, it's kind of fun.
After coming home to change and get fancy, we went to dinner. Two words to sum up that heavenly experience. Chicken Fajitas. Next stop was Mom's house for Chocolate cake, which you can see here. Her and Ralph did such an amazing job on a triple layer double chocolate, cream cheese icing cake that I could barely think after a few bites.
Let's recap. Pancakes, Hiking with my Husband, Flowers, Fajitas, Triple Chocolate. Yep that =Happy 28th.
