Saturday's like today remind me of how lucky we are to live so close to the coast. I've seriously wanted to go the the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival for like the past 4 years! Today, finally, Success! It was way crowded and after we took pictures of all the pumpkin food, we left. So many half moon bay people crammed into like 4 square blocks, was. not. fun. Earlier in the morning we were in Santa Cruz for Ryman to photograph the EHS marching band, neat picture of them practicing the night before, here. We walked like 15 blocks along with the band and then cruised around the Boardwalk for a few minutes so Ryman could find a churro. My husband loves sugar.
I got a couple great photographs of Fall-ish stuff while we were there and a few more in HMB. We also stumbled upon a light house somewhere on highway 1 between Santa Cruz and Half moon Bay, so that was neat. Unhelpful hint: I use the word neat, kind of a lot, it's a bit of an issue.. just go with it. The pumpkin patch was my favorite part of the day, for sure, it was worth the ridiculous amount of traffic we had to sit in, and all the hay I accidentally brought home with us on the bottom of my shoes.
