We randomly decided to take a hike yesterday and I can say for sure that a year ago, although I would have happily agreed to go, I also would have huffed and puffed the whole entire time. Today I honestly didn't even think twice about the fact that there were two hills included in our hike, I even kept pace with Ryman the entire time.
It's not that something as insignificant as hiking about a mile and a half is a big deal, it's actually the fact that it wasn't a big deal, that made it a big deal! I wonder if that makes sense?
On Friday we bought the new Jillian Michaels video, Ripped in 30 and my goodness was it intense! It's four separate workouts that are to be done for 7 days each and I'm so excited to see how different, if at all, the results will be compared to the 30 day shred- which I lost almost 20lbs with!
Saturday was a fun photo shoot in the rain, the images are gorgeous-see them here. I love helping out by giving direction when it's needed. I especially love it when one of my best friends agrees to be one of the models. (*waving at Tina)
Overall the weekend was great and we had a wonderful time- our splurge on lunch was somewhat healthy sandwiches at Boudin SF before our hike and as always is I'm sure with a hike, the best part was the view!
Living just over the bridge from San Francisco proved to be a lovely advantage yesterday. I took all of these, surprisingly, well except for this one.
