Last Thursday a couple of very wonderful friends (waving at Roman & Laura) invited my cute husband and I to a comedy club/show in the city. It was set to start around 7:30pm and because I was off work at 530 that day I looked up how far away from Union Square the club was and decided to walk to meet the 3 of them there.
The weather was beautiful and the sun was shining! It was seriously around 75 degrees outside at 6:30. I walked a ridiculous amount of blocks, and loved every minute of it.
I decided to make my own route, instead of what Google suggested, I changed it to the above route and made it a little longer than it needed to be It gave me the opportunity to walk through our famed Chinatown and almost all of chic North Beach.
I've lived in the bay area most of my life and I've worked in San Francisco for almost 5 years. Having never seen these landmark neighborhoods made me feel like a tourist and I enjoyed it as one, snapping pictures from the middle of the street and simply being in awe of all the spectacular things there are to see.
So today I would like you to see San Francisco, through the lens of my point and shoot. Walk through the city with me, hopefully you will be as surprised and mesmerized as I was. Trying to see the beauty all around me this Spring is even more fun than I expected.
Hopefully as the nice weather continues, I will have more opportunity to get out of the office and see more of San Francisco, for both of us!
