So guess what? There is something that you’re good at; it’s something that you just excel at no matter what. Good job you! Because Mother Nature and the Universe are quite good at balance that simply means that there is something you’re probably not very good at- or maybe simply bad at, as well.
This month and all of the posts that are going to fill it up- will hopefully have some sort of direction. I’d like to say I’m going to use them to try and explore ways to get better at my not very good something (running, baby) and to inspire you to do the same. I haven’t got the slightest idea about exactly how that’s going to happen, but I have a feeling it will be fun to figure it out as the days progress.
Two practically perfect people are totally responsible for inspiring me to work on my not so good thing. They are smokin hot chicks and I love them -to put it plainly.
One of them recently gave me the loveliest gift for turning 29. (photo of that later, although I’m warning you, you’re going to be jealous.) She happens to be very good at a lot of things; one of them is inspiring me to exercise, specifically to run. We used to run together nightly during the week and although that hasn’t happened in a long time, I would like it to, really. (Tina, take a bow)
Coincidentally my other best friend -no they have never met, sadly- is also a runner. She was married just a few short weeks ago and getting to stand next her while she said her vows was one of the greatest gifts I’ve ever been given. All of my life she has inspired me to run, just by doing it so well herself. She loves it and makes me want to love it too. (Jackie, your turn to take a bow)
Time to show off how awesome these two are and to put them on blast because now I have to run all this month and IT’S ALL THEIR FAULT. I mean…I’m going to get better at my not so good thing in their honor.
Gift from Tina that I never want to take off- I'm the you and she's the me. Wrap your head around that one!
