Random road trip of the month took us to Stinson Beach last night. We wanted a sunset on a real beach...yeah um, no sunset because of the miles of fog that rolled in and Stinson is not really a real beach. I mean it is, kind of, at least compared to Alameda beach.. but a REAL beach? Um no. Small waves.. and fishing dudes and.. oh geez forget it, you know what I'm trying to say. It just wasn't that great okay. The history of the town is really cool though, really it is!
Something I did love though, were the flowers that I found washed up on the shore. There were some kids playing nearby, so I assume they must have left them right where I found them and I took a few shots, it was fun. Then I just couldn't help myself and I had to draw a heart in the sand. Like I said I really couldn't help myself, I felt compelled to draw it. It's sad, but there was no way I was going to walk away without doing it. Seriously, flowers in the sand, all alone like that. My pathetic, romantical, lovesick self had to make the most of it.
Ryman asked me "How many shots are you going to take of the same flower?"
and I said "Well I have 50 so far, and my hands are numb, so I guess we can stop now" ...but honestly I probably could have taken 50 more :)
